Free and Reduced Lunch Application

Children need healthy meals to learn. Green Brook Township offers healthy meals every school day. Your children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Please review the attached PDF for more details and to print out the application.

Please note that the district offers a convenient way to fill out the Free/Reduced Lunch Application online via the Genesis Parent Portal. Parents who prefer a paper copy may print and fill out the forms below. If you require a copy printed for you, contact your school’s front office with your request.

Summer Meals Information

Online Payment for School Lunches

The District is pleased to offer parents the ability to manage their child’s meal account over the Internet by using PaySchools, an online school management tool. The new service benefits schools, parents and students. Cashiers will spend less time taking deposits at the serving line; parents do not have to worry about money not reaching the school; and students never have to worry about not having money to pay for lunch.

Through PaySchools, parents can log in at any time to make a deposit to their child’s account, view their child’s account balance, set up recurring deposits to their child’s account, set up e-mail notifications when their child’s account falls below a certain dollar amount, or request a report showing what the child has purchased on their account. Payments processed before 9:00 p.m. ET should post to the student’s account the next morning, in most cases.

There is a 4.75% transaction fee assessed to each transaction. The fee is only charged when you add money to your child’s account. Parents can view the account balance and see what their child has purchased without incurring this fee. If a parent has multiple children enrolled in the District, they can add money to each child’s account during the same transaction.

Transactions processed by PaySchools are safe and secure using Secure Socket Link, SSL, technology with Digicert. With this technology, schools can be assured that all student information, credit card information, and all other student data will be highly encrypted and secure.

Parents choosing not to use PaySchools for credit card transactions can continue to submit cash and checks.

To sign up, click the PaySchools link and complete your registration. NOTE: You will need your child’s Student ID to register, which can be found in the Parent Portal, on the Summary screen, underneath their name.
