Anti-Idling Regulations-A Public Service Announcement
The Green Brook Township School District would like to make sure all parents and students are aware of the anti-idling laws that limit the time gasoline and diesel powered vehicles can sit with the engine idling. NJ 7-27-14 and NJ 7-27-15 mandate that motorist turn off their vehicle engines after three minutes of continuous idling. The Green Brook Township School District realizes that parents waiting for their children after school and sporting events may find themselves waiting with their vehicle engines running for prolonged periods of time. In an effort to conserve fuel and improve the overall air quality on and around the campus, we encourage you to shut your vehicle off while waiting in our parking lots. Thank you.
